We stayed at The Beacon Hotel recently for the first time and had a wonderful experience , one of the best weekends in years!! All the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent . The hotel is very beautiful with impressive rooms and lovely design !!! The music in the bar was really cool and the bartenders were serving some of the most amazing cocktails that I have ever seen!!
The restaurant staff were really helpful and the food and service at breakfast was top class. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and cant wait for my next visit!!
Lovely hotel, very clean and modern decor. Fantastic shower which I didn't want to get out of! Staff were very helpful and all round a very plesant stay.
My fiance and I stay here at least once every two months for the last year. We are always so very impressed with the lengths the staff will go to, to ensure guest satisfaction. Gorgeous stylish clean rooms, good value packages and you NEVER hear anything from their popular bar on the ground floor. Food is just delicious and I cannot fault the restaurant staff. I always leave feeling happy, rested and reluctant to go home. Have recommended it to all our friends.
Fantastic hotel - well looked after, good food and very comfortable rooms. Good Wifi access and plenty of desk space to catch up on work emails.
"Stylish, chic & cosmopolitan - on trend and on the pulse - a must stay!"
This hotel is beautifully designed both inside and out, stylish, elegant & chic yet not overindulged in intimidating luxury - exactly what is needed for a busy weekend whether on business or pleasure or both!
I loved the inviting lobby/reception area, fashionably changing from daytime city chic to a cool night time vibe with subtle lighting and cool music...which flowed round through the contemporary cocktail bar to the My Thai restaurant where we had a delicious dinner from the sumptuous menu selection on both evenings. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful and every effort was made throughout our weekend stay to ensure we were looked after and every request was accommodated.
Our large deluxe suite was spacious and light by day then ambiently lit by night to relax into the evening...a full wall window offered views of the coast line to the right and the urban areas to the left - a well stocked mini bar for instant refreshments and not forgetting the large bathroom slippers...pure luxury!
I was really looking forward to our stay at the hotel, I love travelling and am fortunate to stay in many hotels around the world for both business and pleasure trips and I certainly wasn't disappointed as The Beacon Hotel really exeeded my expectations for atmosphere, style, and most importantly, standards of service which was second to none. I can thoroughly recommend The Beacon Hotel and look forward to my next visit.
"A superb hotel!...."
We recently stayed at The Beacon Hotel, as part of a Stena Line Deal, for three nights. The hotel is bright and airy. It is extremely well appointed and spotless throughout, including the bedrooms.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly, extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel is a comfortable 10 minute walk from the nearest LUAS (tram) station (at Kilmacud). The LUAS journey into central Dublin takes about 15 minutes and is no hassle at all. Although distant from the city centre, a quiet, very satisfying and comfortable stay is guaranteed. We shall certainly be returning to The Beacon Hotel!
"Great hotel with friendly staff"
Stayed here last March for two nights and was really impressed. Someone in work recommended it and they weren't wrong. Very clean, decent food and a nice bar in the evenings. Very modern. I would highly recommend it. Friendly staff as well which always makes the difference.
"Best stay I had in years....hotel was fabulous and staff just fantastic!!"
I decided to visit my dear friends from college that I hadn't seen in years and they recommended to stay in The Beacon Hotel, Sandyford. They booked a few rooms on Dinner/Bed & Breakfast package (amazing value for money!!). On arrival we were greeted by a lovely girl at reception who was most courteous and answered all million and one questions that we had. The phone was ringing non stop, but we didn't mind to be interrupted as it's a good sign in this day and age to be busy!! Receptionist kindly stored our bags as it was early morning; rooms were not ready and she recommended we could go shopping in Dundrum Shopping Center just a few minutes away. She even gave us VIP cards for shopping, ordered a taxi and gave a few ideas of good restaurants for lunch in the center itself. On return a kind gentleman on reception presented us with the room keys, said that all the luggage was brought upstairs already and confirmed our dinner time. Rooms were FAB!!!! all you could want and more....comfortable, bright, exceptionally clean. I couldn't wait for dinner. We got ready and decided to try few cocktails before our meal as we read online some good reviews about their Crystal Bar. Choice was overwhelming!! Once our table were ready we went to the Thai restaurant to enjoy the yummiest meal.....from starters to dessert all was sooooo fresh, tasty and presentation had more colors than the rainbow!!! We retired to our bedrooms, beds were soo soft that I don't even remember somebody knocking on my door with breakfast....You must visit this place. My friends and me had a ball!!!
"The Hotel & its Staff made my 30th birthday just what I wanted it to be...Perfect"
The hotel is lovely, it met my expectations after looking at their website. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the Pyjama Party as part of our stay, it was great value for money and I would definitely think about doing it again, as well as recommend to others. The hotel is about 20 mins on the Luas from Temple Bar area or 10 mins in a taxi.
Went on a last minute trip to the Beacon on Saturday we had such a fabulous time from teh time we arrived there was nothing too much trouble. We stayed in a king deluxe the room was gorgeous so spacious the bathroom I want one in my own house dreamy!! The food was lovely in the restaurant and warrants a visit. Thanks to staff they were polite and easy to deal with. Thanks to the Beacon for a lovely weekend.
"The Complete Hotel Experience"
Our stay in the Beacon Hotel started with being greeted by the Hotel Manager Raja. He personally carried our bags to our room and from that moment on he made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel. The location is ideal as it is close but not too close to the M50 motorway with access to the north east and south east of the country. Its also in close proximity to the seaside. In the hotel we ate most excellent food and it was refreshing to see a breakfast that consisted of well and above the typical full Irish but for those of you who can't do without that don't worry the Beacon also have a very nice full Irish Breakfast. All the staff I would rate at excellent as was the food and all other aspects of our stay at The Beacon. I would highly recommend it.
I have chosen to stay in The Beacon Hotel as this is the only one hotel which feels like home away from home for me it is very important, especially during my business trip. Location is perfect, just very close to my office. The decor of the bedrooms and the hotel overall is just amazing. The food in the restaurant is always great. I would like to say thank you to the management and staff for being always so welcoming & friendly. I will be staying there again and would recommend The Beacon Hotel to all my friends.
"Stylish Hotel with Brilliant Service"
We had Dine Out Stay Out Package. We walked into the hotel, lovely decor, had a warm welcome, receptionist was extremely nice, the rooms were lovely and had amazing view. The dinner in My Thai restaurant was wonderful and service was very professional and friendly. The shopping was just few minutes away, we went to Dundrum Shopping Centre, very huge and I had a great time. I would say, its rarely seen around the world.
I was staying in The Beacon Hotel for the Valentine's Night with my partner. I booked surprise get away (couples package) for myself and my boyfriend, and we really enjoyed it. On arrival we got the tapas and sparkling wine in the room, we went to the bar and had few delicious cocktails there before the dinner. The dinner in My Thai was fantastic, food was really good and the atmosphere was romantic. We really had a good night, and would like to say Thanks to the Beacon Staff & the Management.
"The Best Hotel have stayed in Dublin"
Very clean, very quiet, very professional. The restaurant is excellent, the rooms are spacious and the staff are polite and helpful. And before you ask, I do not have shares in the hotel. Would reccommend.
"Modern Hotel with proper service standards"
I have stayed at The Beacon regularly over the last 4 years both on business & leisure. The service standards are very high and you are always ensured a friendly welcome whether from the front desk, the bar or in the restaurant. I have recommended many people to stay there, including many seasoned travellers and they have all enjoyed their stay at The Beacon.
"Best New Years Eve Ever!"
My stay at the Beacon at new year's eve with my partner has been a great and memorable experience of my life. I would say we made the right choice to visit a new country and new hotel. As the car park lift opened into the lobby only words I could say was WOW!! Manager at the reception greeted us with a glass of champagne to me and my partner. There I knew we will have a great night & stay. After checking in at the reception we were given the details of activities that were going to happen tonight with other helpful information about the services. The staff had a very professional attitude and extraordinary services throughout our stay. I must also mention the bedroom view was amazing. Nice cocktails at the bar was all we could ask for before dinner. I cannot forget to write about the restaurants ambiance and delicious food to top that it started to snow which turned the atmosphere even more romantic with the lights inside and snowfall. It has been the most romantic stay at your hotel and I wish we had stayed longer. People it's highly recommended!! Wonderful interiors, excellent services and some marvelous dining.
"Superb with the most amazing lobby!"
Sister hotel to The Morgan where I often stay. The Beacon is an exceptional hotel where service, design and attention to detail are paramount. I strongly recommend this hotel since I stay here every month and have done so for quite some time. Good job Raja and team!!!
"Ireland's Best Kept Secret"
I have stayed in the hotel about 6 times now and for the life of me can't find a reason to book a hotel in the city. The Beacon has it all. Fantastic shopping in Dundrum only a short walk away. Our time at the beacon normally runs as follows. Shopping in Dundrum, back to the hotel and a small cocktail before checking in. Check in. Marvel at the beautiful room and run a bath in the deepest bath you will ever see. Make dinner reservations in the restaurant. Down of dinner maybe a pre meal drink followed by a fantastic dinner. Then over to the bed in the lobby for an after dinner cocktail while we chill out to the DJ in the lobby. Then bed.
I could add loads more but you might start to think I work for the beacon. I can't say enough about this fantastic hotel. Give it a go you'll LOVE it too. I bet.
