The Fitzpatrick Design Collection was set up in 2001 by Paul Fitzpatrick to create a portfolio of design focussed boutique hotels. The collection currently consists of The Morgan and The Beacon hotels in Dublin. The award winning hotels have made their mark by investing in cutting edge design.

Opening 2010 – The Baxter Edinburgh
Plans are underway to create a 167 bed designer hotel on Baxter’s Place, next to the Playhouse Theatre in the East End of the City.
The outline plans lodged this week mark the company’s first move into the UK and will create over 100 jobs for the city.
Three adjoining Georgian townhouses will be refurbished and restored revealing a stylish, chic interior with cool clean lines, white open spaces, feature furniture and dramatic lighting.
The hotel will boast a contemporary 150 seater restaurant, cocktail bar and chill out lounge with Parisien-style terrace, and first class conference and business facilities.
While the front of the building will be restored, architects have also included in their plans a modern extension to the rear of the building plus a glass constructed penthouse for luxury suites with garden terraces which offer outstanding views to Calton Hill and beyond.
