The Beacon Hotel is located 5 miles south of Dublin city centre and we are located less than a 5-minute drive from junction 13 on the M50. There is an M50 toll located between Junction 6 (N3 Blanchardstown) and Junction 7, a car is charged €2.10 with a tag account or €3.10 without a tag account. A bus or coach will cost €2.90 with a tag account or €3.90 without a tag account.

If you are coming from Dublin Airport, you can get a taxi to The Beacon in 31 minutes (cost from €40 +) or you can use the Aircoach from Dublin Airport. It comes every 20 minutes between 04.30 and 12.30 (every hour between 12.30 and 04.30) and costs €7 one way. You can purchase tickets on the Aircoach or you can get them online. The Aircoach stop is opposite arrivals at Dublin Airport and a 10-minute walk from the Leopardstown stop near The Beacon Hotel in Sandyford.
- Exit the M50 at the Junction 13 southbound, sign-posted "Dundrum."
- Take the third exit on the first roundabout, stay in the middle lane.
- At next roundabout, take the first exit, stay in the right-hand lane.
- At proceeding junction, take a right turn, you will see the Beacon Hotel on the right-hand side.
- At next set of lights, take a right turn & take a following right turn again into The Beacon Hotel car park.
Exit M50 at Junction 13 with "Dundrum" on the sign & at the roundabout take the third exit, stay in the middle lane.

The Beacon Hotel is easily accessible by both the green Luas line and by the M50. Located in Sandyford, South Dublin, there are a number of ways you can reach us. If you are travelling by car from North Dublin, the M50 is the best way of reaching us. Rather than travelling through Dublin city and contending with traffic at peak times, you're better off getting on the motorway to the Beacon. Guests at The Beacon Hotel can park for only €5 per night, in a very secure underground facility. Please be aware that you cannot secure car parking spaces prior to arrival and spaces for the hotel are marked specifically with "Beacon Hotel Parking."
The M50 goes through areas -> Ballymun, Blanchardstown & Ballymount from the Northside. You must exit the M1 coming Northbound to get onto the M50 & Southbound you will exit the M11 to get onto the M50.
