Energy Theatre

The theatre came about due to a rising demand for a location to facilitate large-scale theatre productions in Dublin. Since opening, The Bord Gais Energy Theatre has hosted a very diverse variety of shows, including famous ballets, operas, dramas and musicals. This theatre has a seating capacity of 2,000 with a classic three-tier theatre auditorium style designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind. Having facilitated many different types of productions in the past, there is sure to be a show to suit all tastes.

Seeing a show at the theatre is great for all ages, and fun for date night or to take the whole family. The theatre allows children aged 3 and over to visit, while children of all ages can be admitted to a show classified as a children’s show.

 

Opening hours of the Box Office:

  • Monday – Friday: 11 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays: closed
