If you are a beginner looking to take a couple of skiing lessons, the instructors will help you build a solid foundation of skills to help you enjoy your first ski holiday. You can either purchase a 1-day ski course or a class pack for a few days where you will learn introduction to ski equipment, maneuverability, controlled descent and basic turning and stopping. For first time snowboarders, the beginner series covers the basics, such as starting from side slipping and falling leaf exercises through straight running and using the drag lift.
If you already have some experience in the snow but wish to improve your skills, there are improver classes and intermediate series available. These classes will have an emphasis on developing the posture and technique required to grow your confidence as a skier on steeper slopes. For skilled snowboarders, there are occasional classes that focus on producing good quality linked carve turns of both, long and short radius on any terrain.
For those who are at an advanced level and wish for a challenge, they can enjoy the blacks, the steeps, the bumps, the icy trails and variable terrains.
Other Activities available at The Ski Club include snow tubing, a freestyle park for skiers and snowboarders, and advanced clinics for skiing. There are also races held for club members each month, with a club championship at the end of the season.
Pricing and booking vary depending on the lesson and session type. Prices also vary depending on whether your group is an adult group, school group, student group, or youth group, and whether the group is interested in tubing or skiing/snowboarding.
